Hotel Energia™ was established in 2006 as an independent hotel by a local Montreal family. It’s located in the heart of the Old Port, one of Montreal’s main attraction sites, in order to offer our customers an amazing stay. Our key purpose was to create an environmental friendly hotel which would offer the same great services to our customers as other hotels. Fortunately, we have been able to live up to our purpose. Our main focus is our clienteles complete satisfaction by implementing the three R’s, reduce, reuse and recycle. We have been able to recycled 100% of all our recyclable items up-to-date. Additionally, located near the water, we are proud to announce that we run solely on solar power.

We have been granted acknowledgment and awards from the province of Quebec as well as non-profit organizations for our honest work and support to our environment. Also, every year 5% of our profits go back to local non-profit organizations to help cover some of their costs of functioning. In addition to happily supporting organizations, giving back to the Montreal community for always giving us opportunities to flourish is very important to us.
